Members of SHIFT are motivated, ‘young-minded’ individuals in Thunder Bay who desire a connected and active environment for personal and professional development, as well as a means to be engaged in the community. There are no age restrictions, no professional prerequisites, just a desire to connect and foster change. We encourage SHIFTers from all sorts of backgrounds to attend networking events and be involved. That includes professionals working in the arts, the not-for-profit sector, government or the corporate world.
As of Spring 2011, there is no formal membership. However, that may change. In the meantime, networking events are open to all who are interested in attending. If you want to join SHIFT, registering with this site and/ or joining us on Facebook are great ways to get started, where you can connect with other SHIFTers and learn about upcoming events. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance as our events are known to sell out quickly!
