Civic Pride

Throughout the month of April, SHIFT is calling on all residents of Thunder Bay to rediscover why you love the city.

Share and post pictures of why you love Thunder Bay.

Places, spaces, neighbourhoods, historical sites, cultural hotspots, people—

Let us know what makes the city so amazing to YOU!

Using the hashtag #TbayLovin, post pictures on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Whether it’s a sleeping giant sunset, THE SNOW, your neighbour, a favourite eatery, or an inspirational person, share WHY you take pride in our city.

A panel of judges will then select the top 46 images, as Thunder Bay is celebrating its 46th birthday this year. The selected submissions will compile a "46 reasons to love Thunder Bay" list. The images will also be featured in a civic pride display that will debut at SHIFT’s first ever Art Affair happening this June. Following the event, the display will travel to various venues across the city.
